This is a pictures of a sunset which I photographed in Naas in early October.

Barronstrand Street in Waterford had a very impressive set of lights for Christmas 2004. The large building on the right is the Cathedral.

Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin is one of the oldest and most well-known cathedrals in Ireland and also houses the Dublinia museum.

This Grey Squirrel was one of five chasing each other around the grounds of Kilkenny Castle. You can get quite close to these.

A Nice picture of Kilkenny Castle by Night. Built in the 12th century, it was home to the Butler family until being handed over to the state in the 1960's.

Stephens Green is set in the very heart of Dublin city centre. It is over 22 acres in size and is a popular place to relax in Dublin.

The Customs House by Night. The customs house still has some departments of the Irish State as well as having a small museum with the history of the Customs Offices for all goods entering Dublin port in the 1800's and 1900's.

This is The French Church, Greyfriars, Waterford which was a 13th century Franciscan Friary and was built around 1240 AD.

The grand canal was a busy waterway stretching 82 miles from Dublin to the Shannon. This section of the Grand Canal in Naas, was renovated and reopened in 1987.

On a warm summers day, Howth in north County Dublin is a popular place to relax. With picturesque views, boat trips and a variety of places to indulge in everything from Fish & Chips to ice cream.

This young robin red breast peeks out from what was probably a nest or hiding area.

Waterford by Night as seen from the Ardree Hotel. The port has changed significantly over the past 20 years but the view is still as spectacular.

Christchurch Cathedral was designed by John Roberts and construction begun in 1773 and was completed in 1779. The cathedral is a working church and it has existed in one form or another, since the 11th century - most notably during the wedding of Strongbow and Aoife.

Reginalds Tower forms part of the Waterford defences and was built at the beginning of the 13th century. Initially a smaller structure, second phase of building in the 15th century gave it the current shape. In the past it was used as a mint, a prison and military store.

This was just something I saw in Waterford, the reflections of the City Hall flowers in the Theatre Royal glass.
