This is exactly the way the Apollo VIII
Mission Control Center looked at the moment of launch. In this area the video overhead shows the actual footage and the computers light up with actual readings. Other Special effects included the windows shaking to simulate the launch

The Saturn 1-B Rocket

It is from launch pads 38-A and 38-B
that the next shuttle launches will be from. The large white ball at the right is filled with liquid hydrogen. On the left there is an equivalent tank filles with liquid oxygen.
